School in Session

I am still in that early phase of a new educational stage in a novel institution: where I aimlessly walk around in awe at the beautiful campus, the incredible specimen collections, feel excited about all the endlessly interesting research projects, and get a thrill when attending lectures. Yesterday I did a spot of stationery shopping – smooth writing pens and colour coded notebooks – which never fails to rise the spirits.

Ask me again a year from now and I'll probably grovel about how exhausted I am, and the lack of time for everything, and my totally wacky laboratory schedule and disorganized lecture material.

But right now, I'm in a good place.

Notes of Late .003

 1. Haribo varieties are literally endless
 2. Found my way into a HAY store near my apartment, and came out with an adoration for these ceramic Ghosts from Danish designer Anders Arhoj
 3. Also stumbled into Eat Berlin – a tiny store with an impressive array of local edible goods
 4. Getting lost
 5. Trying local haunts for breakfast and finding the most incredible pancakes
